What can you say about Grangefield Barns!! Just stunning!! What a venue and what a pleasure to capture weddings there. The barn is spilt into various spaces that you’re guided through during the day and this provides a great experience for guests.
You can sometimes find with barn venues that everything’s in one room but certainly not at Grangefields. And although yes it’s technically a barn it’s so much more polished and modern than most.
It’s one of those venue where couples certainly add florals but it’s so visually stunning on it’s own that you don’d actually need to do much yourselves. The added florals just tend to be the icing on the cake.
With the addition of the new bridal prep cottage it’s an all in one experience and it just means you can get everyone on site and make the most of your surroundings. No travel needed on the day and for the boys there’s plenty of great local accommodation.
Thanks also Grangefields for a dedicated room for brides to get into their dress. Neutral and clutter free. The absolute dream for us photographers.
The extra long aisle at Grangefields allows lots of space for guests so it can accommodate large weddings. But let’s face it…what we really love about the long aisle is how it makes the most of that moment and just draws it out beautifully.
Im sure everyone has their own opinion but the star of the show at Grangefields for me is the reception room. The galley style table layout makes this part of the day so sociable and it just tends to make things much more visual and photographic.
You also get a peep into the kitchen at the end so you can see food being prepared which adds a great touch. And as for the food, it’s out of this world.
When the time comes to wander off and capture those dreamy evening couple portraits it’s an absolute breeze. So much space t0 play with and at that stage in a wedding day it creates a lovely moment for couples to take few minutes away to breath and soak it all in.
So yeah…Grangefields….what a venue!! Highly recommended.
